Job summary
Qiddiya Investment Company is poised to transform the entertainment landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are searching for an experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts Payable to join our finance team. In this critical role, you will oversee the accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure efficient processing of invoices, payments, and related transactions.
- Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or payment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system.
- Conduct regular audits on accounts payable processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts payable activities.
- Monitor accounts payable metrics and prepare reports for management on performance and process improvements.
- Stay current with best practices in accounts payable and relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, compliance issues, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
