Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

As a key member of the hotel management team, the Housekeeping Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional stay experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, including laundry and internal communication center, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Ensure all rooms are prepared and inspected according to our high standards, including turn down service.
• Maintain beautiful flower decorations in rooms and public areas, as per our quality standards.
• Ensure the upkeep of all front-of-house areas, including the hotel entrance, is always immaculate.
• Regularly inspect the night shift to guarantee high cleaning quality standards.
• Maintain optimal stock levels for housekeeping and laundry operations, approving requisitions accordingly.
• Manage inventories of linen, uniforms, and other essential items, recording usage as scheduled.
• Build relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth operation.
• Coordinate pest control services with stewarding and engineering teams.
• Implement housekeeping-related HACCP procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Collaborate with departments on guest requests and issues, providing excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular inspections with engineering on deviations from standards and maintenance issues.
• Work closely with Front Office to schedule room maintenance.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in hospitality, with 8–10 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
