Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of joinery projects ensuring they align with project goals
• Oversee the preparation of the design documentation, including drawings, specifications and presentation
• Manage design procedures, including information exchange, issue logs, and RFIs.
• Schedule and lead weekly design coordination meetings.
• Work with the Lead Designer to resolve coordination issues and discuss complex details, offering solutions based on expert and stakeholder input.
• Review scope, roles, and deliverables prepared by discipline leads to ensure alignment with client and contract requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager with managing changes.
• Prepare periodic progress reports for senior management.
• Define the quality budget and schedule for technical quality reviews of deliverables.
• Monitor design progress and identify potential risks or concerns.
• Coordinate with designers, commercial, and procurement teams regarding materials.

Requirements:

• Driving license
• Minimum 5-8 years of UAE fit-out experience
• Has worked on at least 2 joinery projects valuing 25 million and above
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, interior design or a related field
