Job Description

What you will be doing

* Supervise system testing, balancing, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.
* Verify that mechanical systems meet operational and environmental requirements.
* Provide technical guidance on mechanical designs and site challenges.
* Review and approve mechanical materials and equipment for site installation.
* Identifying potential hazards and ensuring safety compliance.
* Identify and resolve mechanical system defects and recommend corrective actions.
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
* Conduct inspections to verify adherence to local building codes.
* Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems into the project.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
* Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of mechanical components.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure efficiency and safety


Required Experience

* 8+ years experience in mechanical engineering.


Education

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.


Certifications & Memberships

* Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).

Essential Skills

* Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
* Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical system design
* Ability to assess site conditions and optimize mechanical installations.
* Clear and effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to handle unexpected challenges in site supervision. 
* Clear communication both in verbal and written form. 
* Works well in team environment, collaborative approach. 
* High attention to detail, works in a thorough, systematic way. 
* Solution minded to overcome issues and meet quality and project time targets.
