Job Summary

The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all products and processes meet internal standards and external regulations. This includes the inspection and testing of steel components, wood materials, and electromechanical assemblies to verify compliance with engineering specifications and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•   Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials (steel, wood, electrical/mechanical parts) and finished products.
•   Monitor in-process production to ensure adherence to quality control plans and specifications.
•   Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and functional testing of mechanical and electromechanical components.
•   Identify non-conformities and coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues.
•   Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, and corrective action documentation.
•   Assist in developing and updating QC procedures and checklists.
•   Support audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and compliance activities.
•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality.

Skills

Requirements

•   Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
•   3+ years of experience in quality control in industrial manufacturing, preferably involving steel, wood, or electromechanical products
•   Solid understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
•   Proficiency in using inspection tools and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters).
•   Familiarity with mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
•   Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•   Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
