Job Description

About the Role:

  1. We are hiring a Store Keeper to manage inventory, tools, and materials for our fabrication and assembly workshops. This position requires good organization, attention to detail, and basic computer skills to handle incoming and outgoing stock, issue materials, and keep inventory records up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and tools.
  2. Label and store items in designated storage areas.
  3. Issue materials to production as per work orders and project requirements.
  4. Maintain accurate stock levels in both manual and digital systems.
  5. Monitor re-order levels and prepare purchase requests when needed.
  6. Ensure proper storage conditions and cleanliness of the store.
  7. Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounts teams.
  8. Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies.
  9. Maintain proper documentation including GRNs, issue slips, and delivery notes.


Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in logistics or related field is a plus.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a storekeeper, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setup.

Familiarity with mechanical or electrical spare parts and tools.

Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems).

Ability to read delivery notes, part numbers, and material specs.

  • Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading if required.
  • Honest, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in a metal fabrication or machinery production company.
  • Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management software.
