Job Description

• Analysis of BOQ items and break down to material labor and transportation
• Negotiation with relevant suppliers and subcontractors.
• Regular follow up on long lead items and procurement log updates.
• Variation price break down, submission and negotiation with consultant.
• Follow up with suppliers on manufacture and delivery durations making sure it conforms to project schedule.
• Competent understanding of drawings, single line diagrams.
• Perform quantity survey to adequately place purchase order according to site needs.
• Regular updates with site to confirm installations are as per PO quantities and wastage is minimal.
• Follow up and submission of regular client invoice, confirming all installations are accounted for.

Job Requirements

• Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
• Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
• Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
• Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
• Problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A degree in Electrical Engineering; MSc is a plus
