About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Account Executive I to join our dynamic sales team in San Jose. As an early-career sales professional with around 2 years of experience, you’ll work closely with our sales managers, and customer success teams to identify business opportunities, engage with prospective clients, and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI, B2B sales, building relationships, and contributing to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Identify and connect with prospective customers through outbound calls, emails, and social channels.
- Lead Qualification: Work with marketing-generated leads to qualify interest and understand customer needs.
- Sales Cycle Management: Support the full sales cycle—from discovery to proposal and closing—with guidance from senior team members.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM system).
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales Engineers, Account Managers, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a B2B sales, SDR/BDR, or junior account executive role.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proactive mindset: Anticipates needs and takes action ahead of time.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ), growth mindset and the ability to "read the room" and adapt communication style accordingly.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Skill in using prompt engineering techniques to enhance productivity, drive efficiency, and decision-making with generative AI tools.

Compensation:
- On-Target-Earnings are expected to be between $100,000 - $140,000 (Base + Commissions). Exact compensation may vary based on skills and location.
