Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

•            Inspect materials, components, and finished products for defects, quality issues, and compliance with specifications.

•            Inspect fabricated piping, welded joints, and components for quality, dimensions, and compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).

•            Conduct visual, mechanical, and functional tests using standard tools and equipment.

•            Conduct visual inspections of welds, joints, and materials to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.

•            Document inspection results, noting any defects or discrepancies, and report them to the relevant departments.

•            Review and verify compliance with company and industry-specific quality standards.

•            Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues and recommend improvements to processes.

•            Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment as required.

•            Perform in-process inspections at various stages of assembly to ensure consistent quality throughout production.

•            Assist in training and educating staff on quality standards and procedures.

•            Validate the final product to ensure compliance with engineering bill of material (BOM)

Qualifications:

•            Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality control role.

•            Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).

•            Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

•            Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).

•            Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

•            Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
