We are looking for an experienced A’la Carte Chef specialized in Mongolian / Far East Cuisine to be assigned to our hotel in Hurghada, Egypt, within Coral Group Hotels.
QUALIFICATIONSGraduated from Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, Tourism & Hotel Management or related departments, Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Mongolian and/or Far East cuisines, Highly experienced in A’la Carte kitchen operations, Preferably with international (overseas) work experience, Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, Knowledgeable in quality management systems and standards, Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills, Ability to manage high-volume production processes effectively, Adaptable to working in a multinational team environment, Solution-oriented with strong decision-making skills, Guest satisfaction and service quality-oriented mindset, Good command of English, Proficient in MS Office applications, No restrictions on domestic/international travel, Currently residing in or willing to relocate to Hurghada, Egypt.
JOB DESCRIPTIONOversees the Mongolian / Far East A’la Carte kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations, Maintains consistency in food quality, presentation, and service standards, Works closely with the Executive Chef to ensure operational alignment and efficiency, Leads and motivates the kitchen team while maintaining high hygiene standards, Monitors stock levels and product usage to support cost control and minimize waste, Ensures proper storage and rotation of all food items, Follows up on guest feedback and implements improvements where needed, Contributes to menu development and presentation enhancements, Ensures compliance with company standards on quality, food safety, and hygiene across all processes
