About the Job:The Convoys Officer is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring medical convoys across assigned governorates to ensure efficient delivery of services and achievement of project objectives. The role also involves managing stakeholder relationships, handling governmental approvals, and supporting proposal development and needs assessments.
Job Main Responsibilities:Prepare and manage all convoys’ plans in the assigned governorates Develop and maintain reports on convoy operations Monitor and evaluate convoy operations to identify areas for improvement Ensure meeting targets and financial control of convoys expenditure Develop and maintain relationships with governmental officials Develop and maintain databases of the assigned governorates Responsible for permits issuance and government affairs in Aswan Represent IBF in all meetings as needed (with stakeholders including public and private sector) Support the needs assessment for proposal writing
Job Requirements:
Experience:Two or more years of progressive experience in a non-profit /Charity setting "INGO is preferred". Proven track record of successful projects management including completion of all project objectives in a timely manner with effective budgetary control. Demonstrated knowledge of humanitarian principles and standards and risk management principles. Education:Higher education degree from any relevant field. Business Administration & medical background is preferred. Skills:Excellent work ethic. Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well with diversified backgrounds and cultures; rural environment. Strong communicator with a variety of stakeholders. Self-driven & self-motivated. Results and quality-oriented; strive for continuous improvement. Highly collaborative working style. Strong supervisory, leadership and delegation skills. Capacity and willingness to be flexible and agile, be available on occasions outside of normal business hours, carry out regular field visits or travel to project sites. Strong planning, follow up, organizational & time-management skills; ability to multitask, deal with stressful situations, meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks. Schedule Manageable Workloads. Work Environment:The working environment is very challenging, crowded & fast-paced. Office-based work model. The Job Role has unusual work hours; some off work and weekend work required when necessary. Extensive & necessary travel maybe required 50% field, 50% office. Ability to travel to remote locations across Egypt to support IBF's various charitable activities. Significant active time will be spent on Convoys/Clinics/Events assessing programs, writing reports, and preparing explanations for the board and other stakeholders.
