The German University in Cairo is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Temporary Travel Office Coordinator.



Reporting Channel/Interactions:




Reports directly to the Travel Office Manager& Head of Department

Interacts and communicates with GUC Community, local and international hotels, airlines and travel agencies



Educational Background:




BA in General Management or Tourism



Experience:




Fresh Graduate or (1 - 3 years)experience in the Travel Business Field





Duties and Responsibilities:




Assist in trips’ planning and booking process based on procedures in-place

Handle, prepare and revise all travelling documents for students related to the Semester Abroad Program at GUC Berlin

Support in the preparation and compilation of statistical reports

Handle necessary correspondence for booking purposes

Maintain the filing system

Handle any booking requirements with travel agencies and seek for best possible travel offers

Handle all administrative tasks and inquiries

Execute – based on Manager’s assignment - departmental booking orders

Maintain the Travel Office database

Handle any ad-hoc assigned duties related to the dept.

Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail Organizational Skills

Language Skills: Arabic – Fluent (Written& Spoken)

English – Fluent (Written& spoken) German is an asset

Administrative Skills Interpersonal Skills
