Role Overview:
The User Experience Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the user experience across Justyol's Shopify platform. This individual will manage the design, functionality, and performance of the website’s theme, utilizing performance analytics and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques to drive business growth. The position requires a strong understanding of Shopify, user-centric design, data analysis, and continuous improvement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and customization of the Shopify theme to ensure an intuitive, user-friendly interface that enhances customer satisfaction and drives conversions.
Continuously evaluate and improve the user journey, making the website experience more engaging, seamless, and conversion-focused.
Implement CRO strategies by analyzing website data, conducting A/B tests, and collaborating with the marketing team to boost sales and customer engagement.
Monitor key performance metrics such as site speed, bounce rate, conversion rates, and overall website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Shopify’s reporting suite.
Work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to ensure that user experience improvements align with business objectives and customer needs.
Conduct user research (surveys, feedback, usability tests) to identify pain points and optimize the site’s design and functionality.
Lead A/B testing and leverage data insights to optimize page layouts, CTAs, product pages, and checkout flow for higher conversion rates.
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing Shopify themes, including customization and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) principles and experience implementing them successfully.
Experience with user experience research and testing (A/B testing, usability testing, surveys).
Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Shopify Analytics, etc.).
Familiarity with Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and design tools (e.g., Figma).
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data insights into actionable improvements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in e-commerce, particularly in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
Understanding of SEO best practices and how they relate to UX design.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for theme customization.
