The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior QA/Test Engineer to join our remote team. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our digital products meet the highest quality standards through thorough testing, automation, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects through resolution
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure high-quality software releases
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Continuously improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Work Environment

• Fully remote position
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (UK time)
• Candidates must have their own PC and reliable internet connection
• We provide the necessary tools and resources to support effective remote collaboration

Compensation

• Monthly package ranging from USD 600–900, depending on experience and suitability
• Competitive rates with additional rewards for ensuring high-quality software and on-time delivery

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Experience in performance and security testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Mobile application testing (iOS, Android)
• Database testing (SQL, MongoDB)
• Security testing best practices
• BDD experience (Cucumber)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
