Job Summary:

This role will be for one of BBI's long-term customers in the banking Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Lake Program Leadership
• Lead end-to-end implementation of an enterprise Data Lake within a regulated banking environment.
• Own delivery of multi-phase data lake programs including ingestion, storage, processing, consumption, and decommissioning of legacy platforms.
• Manage scope, roadmap, budget and timelines for large-scale data lake initiatives.
• Banking Data Domains & Use Cases

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

• Act as the bridge between business, Infrastructure, data, architecture, security, and vendors.
• Manage third-party vendors, system integrators.
• Manage steering committees.
• Adhering to bank PMO.

Required Skills & Experience

• Banking Experience (Mandatory)
• 10+ years of project/program management experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven delivery of enterprise data platform or data lake implementations in a regulated environment.

Data Lake & Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of:

• Data lake architectures (on-prem)
• Structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• Batch and streaming ingestion patterns and integration of source systems data into the data.
• Familiarity with data Lakehouse platforms
• Exposure to AI/ML enablement on top of a data lake.
• Data lake modernization and EDW platforms.

Delivery & Leadership Skills

• Strong experience managing multi-vendor programs.
• Budget ownership and financial control.
• Excellent executive communication skills.
• Certifications (Preferred)
