To analyze and manage geospatial data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in order to support decision-making, improve spatial planning, and provide accurate analytical solutions for engineering, environmental, and urban projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and manage geospatial data (Raster & Vector) from multiple sources.
• Create and update digital maps and geospatial databases while ensuring accuracy and data quality.
• Perform advanced spatial analyses, including:
• Coverage analysis
• Proximity analysis
• Network analysis
• Population density analysis
• Design and develop spatial models to support urban planning, land management, and utilities management.
• Automate geospatial workflows using ArcGIS and ArcPy (Python) to improve efficiency.
• Prepare analytical reports and maps to support decision-makers and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Manage enterprise geospatial databases and ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support technical and planning projects.
• Apply quality standards and adhere to GIS best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Practical experience using ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro.
• Good knowledge of GIS-related programming languages, especially Python (ArcPy).
• Experience working with geospatial databases:
• File Geodatabase
• Enterprise Geodatabase
• Strong ability to analyze spatial data and accurately interpret results.
