The EMEA Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy and respective tactics for the assigned segment across the EMEA region, in this specific case Gi, EUS. This role includes adapting and deploying effectively the global strategy in directs and distributor markets throughout EMEA. The job holder will be responsible for the product lifecycle ownership within the region, the development of key sales enablement tools, and the execution of global campaigns with the respective functions to drive product and key differentiators’ introduction (such us professional education activities, service marketing and ergonomics). The job holder will work collaboratively with peers across the EMEA Team, the Global Marketing and Global Product Development Teams, Countries/Regions within PENTAX Medical and cross-functionally with the commercial organization and distributors to develop and execute regional marketing plans and to drive new product launch activities in accordance to the EMEA product launch SOP. The job holder will be responsible to develop and maintain a strong EMEA-wide network of regional KOLs, experts, advocates and influencers that will drive the clinical exposure of segment products and related solutions in the target geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the segment go-to-market strategy and tactics, develop regional marketing plans to effectively roll-out and cascade the regions’ relevant global marketing strategies, messaging and toolkits.
Drive commercial success through focused campaigns, product transitions (phase out/phase in), tender support, and pricing strategies.
Monitor implementation effectiveness comparing to pre-defined KPIs, through business reviews and field feedback.
Product & Portfolio Leadership
Serve as the segment owner across the region with full lifecycle responsibility in PENTAX Medical EMEA and in all EMEA platforms (PIM, Navision, Webcatalogue..).
Act as EMEA lead for product launch readiness in the region following EMEA SOPs and in collaboration with Global Product Development (GPD) and Global Marketing ensuring regional needs and VoC are reflected.
Tailor portfolio configurations and optimize global messaging to address regional clinical needs, market barriers, and competitive differentiations providing strategic input on innovation directions.
Drive target product positioning in direct and distributor markets translating clinical features and global messaging into compelling and localized tactics that resonates with all stakeholders.
Develop marketing commercial tools such as objection handling guides and tailored and optimized materials following Global Marketing guidance and SOPs to support hospital decision-makers.
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across EMEA channels: educational, sales, and congress platforms.
Support field teams and distributors with hands-on, competitive conversion tactics, product evaluations and roadshow.
Coordinate with Global Training Team for the effective roll-out of Forward Academy Trainings related to key targeted segments
Customer Engagement & Market Development
Build and maintain robust relationships with KOLs, experts, advocates, influencers, societies, and key customers across all segments and within the region.
Lead participation in major congresses, workshops, live cases, and symposia to increase visibility of PENTAX Medical key target products and differentiators and drive clinical engagement.
Define KPIs to track the impact of campaigns, launches, and enablement tools and monitor them closely ensuring adaptions.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Completed studies in marketing, business administration, engineering, or comparable field
- Skills
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent, structured working style and high self-motivation
- Fluency in English is required
Preferred experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in product marketing, ideally in the downstream sector (e.g., chemicals, energy, medical technology)
- Experience working with international teams
