Northland School Division is now inviting applications for the role of Temporary Vice Principal at Father R. Perin School. The kindergarten to grade 9 school is located in the community of Janvier, Alberta. Janvier is situated approximately 120 kilometers from Fort McMurray, Alberta. Major Responsibilities Include
- A passion for promoting educational success for Indigenous learners, especially in their language and culture. Fluency in language and experience in the culture would be an asset.
- Will work closely with the school council and the community to build relationships in order to create a positive, inviting school environment that is integrated into the life of the community.
- Will actively seek local partnerships to create innovative program opportunities to engage and challenge students and promote a sense of pride and accomplishment.
- Is a strong instructional leader who will work with staff to ensure that students have high quality learning experiences.
- Leads by example and is active in the life of the community.
