What role we're hiring for

We're looking for a meticulous and experienced Software Tester based in Egypt to join our remote team on a part-time basis. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our fintech platform, helping us deliver exceptional experiences to our users.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications

• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

• Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing to ensure consistent user experiences

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps; through resolution, ensuring clear communication with the development team

• Collaborate remotely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards

• Conduct API testing and validate data integrity and interaction across systems

• Contribute to test automation efforts where applicable

• Advocate for quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

• Proficiency in English is a must, excellent spoken and written English

• 2+ years of experience in software testing, ideally within fintech or SaaS environments

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices

• Experience with test management tools (e.g. Jira or similar)

• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, REST Assured)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in a remote setup with flexible hours

• Passion for quality and delivering flawless user experiences

• Bonus: Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)

• Bonus: Knowledge of SQL and database testing
