Job Description

Oversee the daily operations of the fleet maintenance department, ensuring all vehicles and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend fleet lifespan.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources and spare parts.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
Coordinate with procurement to source quality parts and negotiate with vendors for best pricing and service.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using fleet management software.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring rapid resolution to minimize operational disruptions.
Collaborate with other departments to align fleet operations with overall business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Bachelor's degree in a related field Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
Proven experience in workshop management (Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a
similar role).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with workshop equipment and processes.
Understanding of quality control and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
