This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freight Operations Supervisor located in Alexandria. The Freight Operations Supervisor will oversee daily freight operations, manage team performance, and ensure the smooth execution of shipping and logistics processes. Other responsibilities include effective team supervision, providing excellent customer service, training staff members, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards and compliance with regulations.

• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and address customer inquiries
• Customer service expertise and commitment to ensuring a positive client experience
• Experience in training and mentoring employees to achieve operational excellence
• Background in military service is a plus
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in logistics software and an understanding of freight operations processes
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferr
