Job Overview

As a Junior Odoo Developer, you will work under the guidance of senior developers to customize, develop, and maintain Odoo applications. You will gain hands-on experience with the Odoo framework while contributing to real client projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about backend development, ERP systems, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Odoo modules under supervision using Python and the Odoo framework.
• Assist in integrating Odoo with third-party systems and APIs.
• Customize Odoo views, menus, and reports using XML and QWeb.
• Write clean, documented, and testable code following team guidelines.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing Odoo applications.
• Participate in code reviews and adopt best practices.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand client requirements.
• Support data migration and basic deployment tasks.
• Document technical specifications and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo development.
• Technical Skills:
• Good understanding of Python programming.
• Familiarity with the Odoo framework, module structure, and ORM.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with front-end technologies: XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Understanding of Git for version control.
• Exposure to Linux command line.
• Soft Skills:
• Eagerness to learn and grow in Odoo/ERP development.
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
