Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Telecom Engineer with solid Pre-Sales experience to join our team in Alexandria.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in IP PBX systems, VoIP solutions, and networking, along with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
The role involves designing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and supporting business development activities.
Experience with the Saudi Etimad tender platform is considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
● Act as a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, supporting the sales team with solution design and customer presentations.
● Design, configure, and support IP PBX and VoIP solutions (on-premise and/or cloud-based).
● Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, compliance sheets, and solution documentation.
● Conduct technical discussions and meetings with clients to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.
● Provide expertise in networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, QoS, SIP, TCP/IP).
● Assist in tender preparation, including technical responses and documentation.
● Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical clarifications and solution alignment.
● Support project handover from pre-sales to implementation teams when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or High Diploma degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field.
● 3–5 years of experience in telecom engineering with pre-sales exposure.
● Strong hands-on experience with IP PBX systems (e.g., Yeastar, 3CX, or similar).
● Good knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and call flow concepts.
● Solid understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
● Proven experience in creating technical proposals and solution documentation.
● Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
● Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred / Plus Skills
● Familiarity with the Saudi Etimad government tender platform is a plus.
● Vendor certifications (IP PBX, Networking, or VoIP) are a plus.
