Role Description

Badr University in Cairo invites applications for full-time Assistant, Associate, or Professor positions in Computer Engineering discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering undergraduate courses, conducting high-quality research in computer engineering and related fields, advising students, and participating in various academic and administrative committees. Faculty members are also expected to contribute to the development of innovative curriculum and foster collaborations to promote student and department success. This is an on-site role based in Cairo.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Computer Engineering fundamentals, including but not limited to computer architecture, software engineering, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and network security
  • Demonstrable experience in academic research, publishing, and contributing to advancements in the field of Computer Engineering
  • Excellent teaching, mentorship, and curriculum development abilities to inspire and guide students
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with collaborative skills for research projects and institutional development
  • Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering; prior teaching experience at a university level is preferred
