Job Description

• Design and develop HVAC systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality projects in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed HVAC layouts, schematics, and calculations using CAD and relevant design software.
• Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork sizing to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory codes.
• Oversee the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical submittals, and material specifications for HVAC components.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of HVAC equipment and materials.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to design intent.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technologies, sustainability practices, and industry regulations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in HVAC design engineering, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, and equipment selection.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other HVAC design software.
• Familiarity with international and local HVAC codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, BOQs, and material submittals.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct site visits and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
