Job Description
- Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure materials are available to support uninterrupted production.
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers and transporters.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Control obsolete, slow-moving, and damaged inventory.
- Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse staff (supervisors, operators, forklift drivers).
- Prepare work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement warehouse KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Prepare and submit warehouse performance reports (inventory accuracy, OTIF, productivity).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 5–8 years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing teams and warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and warehouse systems (ERP/WMS).
