Job Description
- Lead and manage all technical office activities, including engineering designs and technical documentation (Previous Steel Fuel Tanks Design is Mandatory for this Job).
- Review, approve, and follow up on shop drawings, work orders, and technical offers.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards, client specifications, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and feasibility.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the technical office team; assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders when needed.
- Propose technical solutions that improve cost-efficiency, quality, and energy performance.
- Prepare periodic technical reports and support decision-making for senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- 10–15 years of experience in technical office / engineering design roles.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
- Strong experience in steel fabrication and industrial projects.
- Excellent knowledge of engineering design standards and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in engineering software, including:
AutoCAD
SolidWorks (advanced level)
- Strong leadership, team management, and planning skills.
- Very good communication and coordination abilities.
- Very good command of Arabic and good technical English (written and spoken).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred: PMP certification, knowledge of ISO 9001, experience with energy-efficient design.
