Role PurposeAssist the Temporary works coordinator (TWC) with clear delegation of responsibilities to sign off permit to load/unload.Assist the TWC and site team with site inspections on temporary works and updating and maintaining registers.Assist the site team during planning and design conducting frequent checks of temporary works on multiple areas and sites.Key AccountabilitiesConduct site inspections to verify construction activities align with approved design drawings and specifications.Identify and report discrepancies or deviations from approved designs and collaborate with the technical office to resolve them.Coordinate with the site team the planning, design, and implementation of all temporary works on the construction site.Ensure all temporary works are designed, installed, and maintained in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards, particularly concerning temporary works. Monitor safety protocols to protect workers during the erection, modification, and dismantling of temporary works.Monitor temporary works and advise the TWC on any changes in conditions, environment and design changes.Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency in temporary works.Provide regular feedback to the TWC, and site team.Maintain a register of all temporary works, including design drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and inspection reports.Must report to the TWC.Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills8 + years relevant working experience in well-established contracting companies in GCC. IOSH -Managing Safely certification.Temporary Works BS 5975 Training certification.Must have CISRS Scaffold inspection Certification.Computer literateKnowledge of Temporary Works standards, Operational hazards and controls.Fluent in spoken and written English.A self-starter with a high degree of initiative.Ability to work in all outside weather and site conditions.
