The head office in Muscat oversees administration and project execution. The company is ISO-certified and ROP-certified for fire door manufacturing. With 127 advanced technology machines and a workforce of over 400 professionals, Global Woodwork specializes in custom interior design woodwork for hospitality, residential, commercial, and hospital projects. The factory produces a wide range of products, including wooden doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, wall panels, built-in furniture, and ID works for hotel guest rooms and public areas.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Draftsman specializing in joinery and woodwork in our new office in Cairo,Egypt. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for wooden structures and furniture. This includes interpreting and analyzing architectural and engineering plans, developing detailed shop drawings, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring all designs meet industry standards and regulations. The role involves working closely with the production team to ensure accurate and timely execution of projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and other relevant drafting tools
• Strong knowledge of joinery and woodwork techniques
• Ability to interpret and analyze architectural and engineering drawings
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant education or certification in drafting or a related field
• Experience in the woodwork or furniture manufacturing industry is a plus
