Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager – Candy & Confectionery (FMCG)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Manager with a strong background in Food & FMCG, preferably in candy or confectionery, to drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and develop commercial strategies across retail and distribution channels. The role focuses on increasing market share, optimizing pricing and promotions, and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth


Develop and execute commercial sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets

Identify new business opportunities across modern trade, traditional trade, wholesalers, and distributors

Drive product listings, distribution expansion, and shelf presence

Key Account Management


Manage relationships with key retail customers and distributors

Negotiate pricing, promotions, trade terms, and contracts

Plan and execute promotional calendars aligned with brand strategy

Market & Commercial Analysis


Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity

Monitor KPIs such as sell-in, sell-out, margins, and ROI on promotions

Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management

Cross-Functional Collaboration


Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams

Align product launches, promotional campaigns, and demand planning

Ensure smooth execution from order placement to delivery

Team Leadership (if applicable)


Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team or regional managers

Set targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

15-20 years of commercial sales experience in Food & FMCG

Experience in candy, confectionery, snacks, or impulse categories is a strong advantage

Proven track record in key account management and distributor handling

Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

Experience working with modern trade and traditional trade channels

Proficient in MS Excel and sales reporting tools
