Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Oversee the Accounting Supervisor and provide guidance across AP, AR, GL, and general accounting activities.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial statements.
• Monitor and support the performance and development of the accounting team.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the organization.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
• 13–15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proven experience managing AP, AR, GL, and team supervision.
• Proficiency in ERP systems .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
